Point of Service -POSs provides the best of an HMO and PPO in one plan. These innovative plans feature a focused provider network, comprehensive health care benefits, and choice of two ways to receive medical care. Members receive HMO like benefits when they choose a primary care physician and receive a lower level of benefits when using an out-of-network provider. Members do not need a primary care physician's referral to see any in-network provider.
